I visited Malmaison just once, in 2007. It was amazing to me because it is fully furnished, unlike Versailles. So it was much easier to imagine it as a home that was lived in.

These taste tours are absolutely fantastic. Every one we have done has been great. Just did the one in Berlin at Christmas. After your taste tour, you have free time to purchase some of the items you’ve tasted.

I totally agree and have always believed that caging any animal is disgusting and breaks my heart watching that elephant being caged and alone. Thank you Dame Joanna thank you so much for your acts of kindness. ❤ xB

I’m 77 and have always loved Joanna’s programmes on tv. I especially remember her going and living on a little isolated island somewhere, where she did her own video diary all about her time there alone. She was there for several days utterlynalone. A brave lady and one who well deserves the title of Dame now. Thank you Joanna for being such an example to the world. Lovely program Ann. Well done.

Someone should interview Joanna Lumley about her role in the £53 million cost (£43 million of public money provided by taxpayers) of the failed Garden Bridge project in London. The bridge was her idea and she was a trustee for the project! Instead, we get the usual daytime tv "national treasure' fluff.

Me mum & big sis used to huddle round the telly to watch her in the New Avengers , she was brilliant ! The girls couldn't wait for the fights where she would kick a bad man into next week ( unfair for a young lad 😅) still a big fan.
